Warrior Forum Hacked

by Pawel Reszka on February 4, 2008

I never thought this would happen. Warrior Forum got hacked today. I guess somehow someone found a way to hack into their servers. Here is the pic that I was able to find online:

This is not good! So many people running WSOs and now this? I hope whoever did this burns in hell. This is ridiculous. Why would you want to waste time on hacking into someone else’s site?

My sites got hacked before, and I could never understand what did they gain from doing it? I hope the Warrior Forum is back online soon.

I know there is going to be a lot of people talking about it in the forum, so I can’t wait for them to go back online.

In my opinion Warrior Forum is the best internet marketing forum on the freaking planet! Nothing even comes close to the Warrior Forum.

Hopefully WF gets back online soon.

Hey John,

I hate when this happens. One time someone hacked into my site right in front of me. I was browsing through one of my websites and some hacker logo showed up. Good thing it was only for like 5 minutes. I re-uploaded the site and everything was fine.

Whoever did this could have also stolen our usernames and passwords. I am trying to remember if used the same login info somewhere else.

Oh man, this really sucks! I was running a WSO :) I hope they are back soon. I knew something was wrong. Now all I see is this:

Active Server Pages error ‘ASP 0126′

Include file not found

/forum/Default.asp, line 40

The include file ‘config.asp’ was not found.

It sure does look like something terrible has happened, I sure wish there was a better system to use instead of the Microsoft software for this forum.

I visit every day and enjoy the forum a lot.

hopefully the back up will be in place soon.

The hacks. from the surface. appeared to only be minor. Only the front page seemed to be hacked. The typical promotional text by a hacker plus a link to their hacking site replaced some text on the home page.

Hi Folks!

Just wanted to share my new experience.

If your system denies to start due to an error related to missing HAL.DLL, invalid Boot.ini or any other critical system boot files you can repair this by using the XP installation CD. Simply boot from your XP Setup CD and enter the Recovery Console. Then run “attrib -H -R -S” on the C:\Boot.ini file and delete it. Launch “Bootcfg /Rebuild” and then Fixboot

Cheers,
Carl
