Google’s New Update Will Change The Way We Do SEO

by Pawel Reszka on May 13, 2006

Google introduced at the beginning of 2006 the new update called “Bigdaddy update”. This is probably the biggest update to Google’s algorithm and how the websites are going to be ranked in search results. Basically Google is using a network of data centers with different IPs which are sharing the workload to answer search queries. This update was integrated to help those webmasters who follow the Google’s webmaster guidelines to rank better. On the other hand, those who use the “Black Hat” strategies to manipulate their rankings will take a big hit.

This new update also includes new search engine spider called Mozilla Bot which is supposed be able to index faster, smarter, and reach different content more in depth.

This new update will have a huge impact on many webmasters who are using the black hat techniques. This is just another reason why you should build high quality original content websites instead of trying to make a quick buck.
