Rob Benwell – Auto Blog System X & Blogging To The Bank

by Pawel Reszka on May 20, 2006

So, you probably got here by searching Rob Benwell or Blogging To The Bank. Rob is a brilliant marketer I got to give him that. He made a fortune selling info products like BTTB, Blogging Espionage, and now Auto Blog System X. I don’t know him personally so I cannot say if he actually made money using the techniques he is teaching. I know that auto blogging doesn’t work anymore. Google hates them and sooner or later they all get banned. Trust me, auto blogging is something you don’t want to waste your time on.

Here is an example:

I watched this site videospider.tv for a while because I thought it was a pretty sneaky auto content site that was pulling some mad traffic for a while. I was getting ready to copy their concept but then their traffic just disappeared almost overnight. Go check out their alexa rankings and view the max history to see the effect of Google slap.

Here is the image:

They actually had a pretty good run for a while, that’s why I thought about copying it. But as you can see they didn’t escape Google :)

Case in point: Auto content sites don’t work anymore.

Just build an authority site with lots of unique content. That will get you much further than trying to trick the search engines.

I got Rob Benwell’s ebook too. The content might be there, but it needs proofreading like crazy. The grammar errors and fuzzy modifiers make it a tough read. If you know him, tell him to get someone to take a look at it for him. Jiminy Christmas.

Hi there,

I bought the Rob Benwell’s ebook on August 1st, 2008. I read the e-book and found that it is not relevany for today’s traffic because so much has changed.

It is money back guarantee product so I sent email for refund but I did not get the response from Rob.

I feel that it is a Scam.

Gladwin, as a new-comer to blogging I didn’t know who Rob Benwell was until I received an email today from one of the many (far too many now) lists I subscribe to. This prompted me to do some research -hence me landing here- and so I wrote a post about it:
http://blogsunlimited.ca/2008/11/blogging-to-make-money-can-you-do-it/

I’m getting the hang of blogging and creating posts about the many aspects of it and how to maybe -that’s a big maybe- for me to make money blogging.

And what Scott said way back in 2007, I too have found many a sales letter and e-book needing a great deal of proofreading. Yet some or many of them succeed in making sales!

Hi,

I have just purchased Robs new 3.0 Blogging to the Bank, there are some great ideas in it, some is the same as other programs but on the whole good.
I have no doubt Rob is very successful in what he does, I did find however that for someone that has writtern so much, that he would have corrected his spelling and grammer as it is 101 stuff.
I have joined his over the shoulder program where you watch him take a blog from scratch to the top.

I will keep you posted

Frankly its tough to make money if you are a newbie, if you are willing to learn do a google search for the info you need for free !

want to know how to set up website check ‘creating website for free’
‘how to make money online free’ etc.

Frankly unless you master traffic generation techniques that work today
you will not make money.

thats right Jeff, I’m just involve in blogging field seriously since dec 2008. It so hard for me to make my 1st dollar at first. I try so hard. never turn back. Although my blog is new and doesn’t has much traffic i manage to get my 1st dollar. Don’t blame the book, just try and try. Get rich or die trying. :-)

Whether he is a scam or not, people should be cautious nowadays. If you wanna do business, do a realistic business.

Do information niche blogging. Visit http://mashable.com for sample

Get involved in the product niche. Visit 3dlcd-tv.co.uk

If your site is not as popular as the two, go selling products online, not necessarily your own products. You can sell other people’s products through clickbank, amazon or ebay and get commissions.
