User Generated Content - Website content solution

Monday, March 19th, 2007

User generated content is what you need on your website. I mean it! This is by far the best way to grow your website without writing your own content.

If you take a look at some of the Web 2.0 websites, you will notice that all their content is user generated which produces amazing traffic for those giants.

For example, Squidoo allows people to generate so called lenses which is nothing but your own page on their domain name that you can update and drive traffic from search engines to your links, affiliate programs etc.

Blogger allows people to create blogs on their domain name which has produced massive amounts of traffic for them and generated huge amounts of money from Adsense.

Social networking sites allow visitors to bookmark their favorite pages with providing description which also generate another page for them.

But how an average website owner could possibly utilize power of user generated content to increase his search engine rankings and profits?

I recently installed Site Comments software on my websites which has generated incredible amount of content on my pages and increased their rankings. I honestly believe that anyone should get that cool script and install it on their niche sites.

For example, I have installed the software on some of my review pages. To check out one of them visit review for Ultimate Wealth Package.

As you will notice, many visitors contributed and left their comments on that page which keeps it fresh and updated all the time.

To find out more about the software please visit Site Comments official website by clicking here.

The script is easy to install. I had it up and running in minutes. It’s one of the best investments you can make for your content websites.

Hyper-Threading Pages ?

Monday, July 24th, 2006

I have just come back from vacation and the first thing I wanted to do is tell you about my new idea of hyper-threading pages. What are hyper-threading pages? Hyper-Threading page is a page with constantly changing content. The reason why I was testing this idea is because I wanted to see if I can get free articles published on my site with out being punished for duplicate content. You know, now search engines and especially Google started to not to index those free articles that are available for any webmaster to reprint on his website. The reason for that is just massive duplicate content all over the internet. But I think I found a way for you to still use the free articles with out having any problem from Google treating it as duplicate content.

The system I use is very simple. First, you need an rss reader and the one I use is Free Rss News Reader which is free to download. The advantage of this rss reader over any other one is that it randomizes the order in which the results are displayed. So now each time the search engine spider comes to that page it will see fresh content every time with out even the rss being updated.

Next, you should always have an original template where you will publish your articles.

You should now start a blog which you are going to use to display feeds on those article pages.

Next you can create an xml file with your affiliate links in it and plug it in to the free rss news reader also which will randomly pull links from it and display them on your page as well.

The good part of the Free Rss News Reader script is that it writes into the html code so it’s spiderable by search engines.

You can see some examples of those pages at my Internet Marketing Articles page. All the articles published there are free articles pulled from free article directories. Refresh some of those articles and watch the content change each time you do.

Find and Replace ToolHave you ever been in a situation where you needed to update all your website pages and you had like hundreds of them? I have been in that kind of situation when I decided to replace Google Adsense code with Yahoo Publisher Network code. I have had about 200 pages and did not feel like doing all the work manually. I searched the internet for a tool that would allow me to update all my pages at once and I found it. It’s called “Find & Replace Tool”. It will scan your web pages for the line of code you specify and it will replace it with whetever you want. This tool is very handy and can save you a lot of time and work. The good part of it is that it’s totally free software and you don’t have to pay anything to use it. Just another free marketing tool that you can download from our blog. Below I have included the download link for you.

Here is the download link:

Useful Wordpress Plugins & Webmaster Resources

Monday, June 26th, 2006

I just thought I would tell you about some Wordpress plugins that I use and a few other resources I have found to be pretty useful.

First plugin is Extreme Video Plugin 2.0 which will allow you to place video clips into your wordpress posts with one single line of code. The plugin supports the following video formats:

  • You Tube Support
  • Google Advanced Player Support
  • Support for any FLV
  • Quick time MOV Support
  • Google Java script for Full screen and Flash 7 Detection
  • Code Reorganization , allows plug ins to use the E.V. Functions
  • “Pageless” Full Screen Javascript PopUps
  • Customizable Classes for each type of video
  • XHTML 1.0 Strict Compliant
  • FLVPlayer with Proxy Support
  • Proxy was added for quicktime. Proxy shows and image instead of the actual movie.

It doesn’t support “wmv” format, but I found a plugin that does and it’s called Anarchy Media Player.

Second plugin is Adsense-Deluxe. This plugin will allow you to place either Adsense code or Yahoo publisher network into your blog with one single command. The plugin works very well, and I like that it supports Yahoo ads as well. Very easy to install.

Next plugin I would recommend is Google Sitemap Generator. This plugin is highly convenient. Everytime you make a post to your blog it will automatically update your Google sitemap and ping Google to announce the update.

I have also found some other cool resources like:

- Embedded Media HTML Generator - creates html code to display video clips on a webpage and supports different formats.

- Scrollbar Changer - if you ever wish to change color of your scrollbar to fit your website design, this tool will do the job.

I think the tools above could be very helpful and the best part about them is that they are free.

Enjoy!

AutoLinkExchanger - Automates your reciprocal link campaign

Wednesday, June 14th, 2006

Auto Link ExchangerI have been very busy for the past 3 days, that’s why I haven’t been able to post to my blog lately. I just got back home and started reading my emails. I have received an email which was a reply from one of my posts on highrankings.com forum. The person suggested to me a new link exchange software application that is supposed automate the entire process. I meen automate everything. I know it sounds like spam, but actually it’s not. This is a legitimate link directory software that you can install on your server to exchange links with other webmasters. The software has some outstanding features though. It actually finds the websites that want to exchange links and submits your site to it all by itself. Not only that but it also monitors your link on their site, checks for Google Page Rank and a lot more. I highly recommend this software to anyone who wish to do some powerful reciprocal link campaign. The pages generated by Autolinkexchanger are template based, which makes it easy to make it fit into your website design. Free Rss Reader For Your Website

Thursday, June 1st, 2006

The Free Rss News Reader script is now available to public. You can go and download the free software and install it on your website to display rss feeds. For those who are having problems with the installation I provided free help as well. I am already working on a new version that is going to work with cron jobs which will allow you to refresh the content by itself so your website loads faster. The script is totally free of charge. Yes! you don’t have to pay for it at all. The script is also pretty powerful. It randomizes the display of the feeds so each time your website is loaded it has different content on it. There are many benefits from displaying rss feeds on your website. For example, since you are going to have fresh content on your site, the search engine spiders will revisit the web page more often. This can result in better search engine rankings for your website. I think it’s something worth looking into.

Go and download the script: http://www.freerssnewsreader.com

How To Register A Domain Name

Monday, May 29th, 2006

I have been thinking a lot about how should webmasters register their domain names. I know that many people register their domain names like this: keyword1-keyword2-keyword3.com. Is this better than just one simple easy to remember name like for example affhelper.com? I am not sure. I have heard from many people that by registering a domain name like keyword1-keyword2-keyword3.com will help you with your search engine rankings for those specific keywords. Well, I don’t think I agree with that. Maybe on MSN or Yahoo, but not that much with Google. I can do a search on Google for “home based business” and find some websites that has no keywords in their domain name. In fact a friend of mine who owns boconline.com ranks on the first page for those keywords. I have also heard recently that by having your main keywords in your domain name can hurt your rankings and keep you longer in the sandbox. I think search engines don’t like those type of domain names anymore. Maybe if you registered your domain like a few years ago and it already gained some saturation within search results, then it could be beneficial. New websites do not experience such a boost in rankings because of that anymore.

I would like to hear your opinion about that so feel free to posts comments.

Free Rss News Reader

Wednesday, May 17th, 2006

I would like to announce that I am currently working on development of my new script which I am going to give away for free. The script will allow you to display Rss Feeds on your website to increase your search engine rankings. The feeds will be written into html page so your website can stay in the html format which is more search engine friendly. Fresh quality news content will attract more search engine spiders into your website to crawl more often. The script is going to be template based so you can format it the way you would want it to fit your website design. Free Rss News Reader should be available to public in just about 3-4 days.
