Scam.com Forum What A Joke

I have never seen so much negativity in my entire life. Have you ever gone to the scam.com forum? Well, I suggest you not to. Google has already penalized them by dropping their rankings.

Anyway, the members of this forum are in there all day long calling everything and everyone a “Scam”. Oviously I went to the forum because they started basing my name without even revealing their real identity, which is illegal by the way in all 50 states.

I had my brother go through some of the posts there. Just by browsing the scam.com forum for 1 hour put him in a depression mode and bad mood for entire day.

The truth is that those people are simply jealous because they are not making any money online. They will call everyone a scammer, but won’t reveal their identity.

Their forum should be banned from search engines in my opinion. I am sure someone is going to sue them sooner or later. I understand that the owner can’t be held responsible for people posting their opinion, but not when it violates the state laws.

Some of those individuals are simply crazy and should be banned from using the Internet. They will call you names, post your personal contact information etc.

I had to make this post because those people seriously need to get a life.

      Hi,

I know, I can’t believe that site is still around. All they do is post scam about everything related to internet marketing. I really don’t see what benefit they get either just from posting over and over again how much they hate stuff. Oh well, people who visit your site know you are not a scam – too bad some people have no care about what they post

      Thanks

The scam.com forum is ridiculous. Those people don’t have a life. Like you said, they call everything a scam.

I’ve also got caught up in there reading what some of those people are talking about, and I must admit it almost made me sick. A lot of the posts in there are illegal. The posters never reveal their real identity but yet they bash everything and everyone.

One of these days they will get shut down.

I must admit some of the postings on Scam.com are ridiculous. However, not for sites like Scam.com, scammers would be in your face. I guess one can find good and bad in everything.

      Scam.com forum is a scam. <– Just because ;)
      Dude I’m enjoying your blog.

Regarding Scam.com.. Have you noticed.. the SITE is GONE! Something happened to it.. I happen to know for a FACT that one of its moderators was signing up under various ID’s and posting as “someone else.” Now THAT’s a scam!

    6. Eric Says:

It appears to have been shut down which I guess is just as well. It was an interesting way to spend an afternoon if you had nothing else going on. One guy thought McDonald’s was scamming him because the way the receipt was laid out, it looked like he was charged a “Take Out Tax.” Some real wackos in the politics section, sometimes I posted just to bait them.

    7. billy Says:

I think that scammers used that site to make the good guys look bad.

    8. Tony Says:

I agree – apparently the reason it got shot down was because the people in this thread – http://scam.com/showthread.php?p=516229 – had spent months making up lies about this guy and other people and apparently scam.com and its hosting company in Georgia had the lawyers walk in with an order to shut them down pending federal investigation.

I’ve been following this thread (Among others) on scam.com but this one is a peach – the main protagonist who calls himself “Father” is an idiot – he simply copies and pastes tons of stuff from the website of the guy he’s trying to put down (who as far as I can tell has done nothing wrong from the stuff they post there) then they post this copied material without realising that they are doing him a service – numbnuts!!

I vote we should all go and tell them what a bunch of pricks they are and that they need to get a life. Scam.com makes money from all the adwords in the site that promotes scams … go figure! George Lamont (AKA Stan Carlson) is the owner. I think one day someone will take him down!

Great blog BTW! Added your feed to my reader!

    9. Tina Says:

Finally!! I am so glad they took them off! Some guy from that site actually emailed me and threatened me with scamming people. That he was going to send me to Prison! And that I wasn’t doing ads right on Craigslist or backpage, etc… I personally wrote and called them and asked if I had done anything wrong. They had no problems with anything. I should have done something about that man, but he had scared me so bad, that I let it go. Never again. these people who think they are the Internet Police are starting to get out of hand!

I have been reading loads about profit lance, and i cant find anything solid about it? What is it? What does it actually do? What do you actually do? Speaking of scams, check this site proconsumerguides.org
It is supposed to be a consumer review sorta thing. They have exactly ONE page, about profit lance. It has pictures of 6 people who “work there” and they have only ever written one article? Their news link just says “Our news archives are currently offline for updates and maintenance” Maintaining what? There one article? Not wanting to sound like a doubter, but there seems to be millions of sites promoting profit lance. If thats all the course is, i do believe that is a scheme of pyramidical shapings. PLEASE CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT PROFIT LANCE ACTUALLY DOES/IS/WHAT YOU DO?

Scam.com is still going strong. The site could have been down due to technical hiccups, it suffered a lot of bandwidth problems lately. This site has it’s own special place in Internet society, personally I think it’s existance is totally justified. Yes, it is a “messy” place, and full of unfounded statements. In some peculiar way, that adds to it’s popularity. On the flipside, many a bona fida scam has actually been identified there. What makes scam.com powerful, is it’s visibility. Once your business name appears there, it is kind of fatal. I think that keeps internet business owners on their toes, similar sites to scam.com would put a big dent in fraudulant internet activity. Pity that, by the time the crime is reported on scam.com, many people have lost money. At least it serves as a warning to others

    12. James Fletcher Says:

Moral of the story: get a real job.

      Here’s a little wolf in disguise: proconsumerguides.org
First hint: notice it sounds legitimate, somewhat similar in name to consumer reports, a reputable magazine? What this site does is attempt to convince you that they tested a plethora of online money making opportunities. What you’ll begin to notice quickly is that not once do they ever mention which online sites they tested. Then, they start repeating themselves in regards to % of online money making sites that fail. They offer 2 external site links, both of which are apparently run by the same person. A classic portal site. These people are nothing but criminals. Treat them as such and stay clear.

I’d also like to point out that THIS site that I am typing in right now, is run by a less than worthy member of society. Another criminal in my opinion. Why? I went to open another tab within my browser and THIS site opened an external advertising link requesting name/email. THIS site would not allow me to close this annoying link; the advertisement kept moving up/down the page as I attempted to click on the ‘X’, [close] icon.

The online marketplace has become so saturated with desperate money makers, that scams are popping up at alarming rates…including the annoying person that created this website. I hope you’re proud of yourself.

    13. Pawel Reszka Says:

      James,

So you are calling me a criminal because I have an opt-in box on my site? LOL dude, get a life. I approved your comment because I want other people to see that there are plenty of idiots like you who only try to put people down and take away their dreams. If I did what you are saying and got a regular job I would never achieved anything in my life and still would be working for some asshole and making them rich instead. Why don’t you just keep your negativity to yourself and leave us entrepreneurs alone.

Maybe you need to listen to this guy:
