Niche Marketing - How to find a niche

Niche marketing has become very popular. This is caused by more competition in general markets. But how do you find a profitable niche for your website?

Well, there are a few resources I use to find niches.

First is Google Keyword Tool. This tool is very powerful and can help you determine which keywords are profitable and which aren’t.  With Google Keyword Tool you can look up global search volume trends and find out if your niche is developing.

You can also research keyword popularity and advertisers competition within Google Adwords.

Next tool I use is WordTracker. Wordtracker gets their results from StatMarket.com. You can find more accurate data related to keyword popularity using this tool. WordTracker also gives you the ability to dig in into more in depth keyword phrases which is crucial with niche marketing.

Another very useful tool is Good Keywords Software. It’s not as powerful as Wordtracker but it has some excellent features as well.

The above tools are the ones I use frequently, but there is only one I use on daily basis. It’s called Keyword Elite. It’s the most powerful keyword marketing software on the internet today.

I highly recommend you to check it out.

WordTracker is by far worth every dime. However, I typically only use it for SEO purposes and not PPC.

I do miss the most important part of your article, and that is the how to part. You spoke of the keyword tools, but not exactly how I can find such a niche using those tools.

I will keep following up with what you write, your ideas do inspire me.

      Thanks for the great post,
