I’ll be registering thousands of expired domain names with high page rank and using these for MANY business ventures and web marketing including selling links to link brokers, or selling the actual high PR domain names for a significant profit. While age is only one of the many factors taken into account by search engine algorithms, it’s an important element that indeed makes a positive difference. Google is more likely to give the trustworthy old-timer the benefit of the doubt before listening to the whippersnappers…

Hate to pour water on your hopes. Google and Yahoo resets any backlinks upon domains expiring. Recent experiments conducted indicate no changes in their policy. If you buy an expired domain, only new links obtained since you registered the domain are counted.
