Adster Campaign Results
I must admit I am very surprised with the results of running my ad on one of Adster’s publishers. It was successful. What did I do? First I went to clickbank and found an affiliate program that would convert well any traffic. I thought that the “Money & Employment” category would be good since everyone wants to make money online. Next I found a high traffic publisher that was selling ads through Adster. I bought an ad for $40 for one day on hi5.com network. Below are the results of running that ad.
The ad went life on May 21st.

As you can see I made a total of $117.50 running that ad with a cost of $40. Not bad ha? I hope this gives you more ideas on how you can use some of the ad networks like Adster or Adbrite for your own campaigns.

Hi, I have used Adbrite and now I am testing Adster. They have a very easy system to set up an ad and I was really impressed with the interface. I will stop back with my results.
Cheers!

We used the Adster service for a better part of 6 months on our site. Things seemed to be fine until it came time to payout. Minimum payout is $5. We requested a payout in Feb of 07 before the last Wed of the month as instructed and as of this date May 1, 2007 we have yet to receive a payment from them. I have contacted support dozens of times and been told that my account has been forwarded to billing only to never hear anythign else from them. About a week ago I received an email from Adster that said they were having problems with the new payment system that they had recently changed to and that payments would be sent out on Apr 30, 2007. Its now May 2, 2007 and still nothing. No payment report in the online stats, nothing. I contacted support again and they assured paymant would be sent this week. For those that were considering using the Adster service I would strongly recommend that you DON’T USE IT!

I recently came across a brand new site that just sprouted up. Its called Adzlive. Looks really interesting and they offer $25 if you post their html code on your webpage for 6 months. The payout is 80% right away and the system works like adbrite.com and adster.com
Two thumbs up so far!

I’ve had a similar experience with adster. Made a few hundred dollars never got paid. They keep saying they will pay but nothing. It’s been months. Terrible. They owe around $700. Never seen a dime.

If you are advertiser, yes, adster works, but if you are publisher, they just a scam….
