How To Scale Up Your CPA Campaign

June 17th, 2009

Well, It’s been a while since I posted in this blog, but I have been very busy with some of my other projects and sites that I run. I had a few people ask me how do I grow my campaign once I see it’s profitable on Adwords? You see, Adwords shouldn’t be your only source of traffic. If Google stops running your ads you lose entire income, so I always look for other sources of targeted traffic.

Once you get some testing done with Adwords traffic and you start getting conversions then you quickly need to expend and use other networks to get traffic from.  You can use MSN, and Yahoo but also other content networks.  Sure PPC is targeted and can produce much better conversion, but if you are promoting a product that a lot of people want then you can start thinking volume.

Have you ever seen the same ad on many different websites?? Well, obviously it must be making money for someone, but the most important thing is how is this ad showing up there, right? If I see an ad that keeps showing up all the time I check with the mouse over which network is streaming those ads and then expand my own campaigns to them.

Here are a few content networks I have used in the past:

Bluelithium – Belongs to Yahoo. It’s one of the largest advertising networks with over 140 million uniques per month.

Zango – Gaming site with tons of traffic. Great for CPA offers :)

Quigo – part of Advertising.com it’s a self-service solution.

Adbrite – Lots of cheap traffic. Test it out first

Pulse360 – Nice content network with lots of potential. You can reach out to sites like FoxNews etc.

As you can see there are plenty of advertising networks that you could use to expand your ppc campaigns. In many cases your cost per click will be even lower with those networks than with Google Adwords.

By the way don’t forget to track your results. I usually have different tracking links for each network I use so that I can determine which one is producing the best results for which CPA offer.

CPA Ringtones Challenge – Part 2

February 26th, 2009

Well, I have been trying to get my ads approved to promote ringtones through Google Adwords and I am getting slapped every single time :(

Google’s mobile content policy is getting insane. Seriously, I think they are being too strict about it. First time, I submitted my ads they were disapproved because I had my price way down the page where the visitor wouldn’t see it when entering their personal information. So ok I went and corrected the problem and moved my price up and even made it bold. I just wanted to get the ads running so I made it visible as much as possible.

Ok, so now I submitted my ads after making the correction and they got disapproved again. This time the reason was that I didn’t have the checkbox on the page to agree with Terms & Conditions that they accept the price for the mobile subscription….grrrrr

So again I went ahead and included the checkbox and made it so they can’t even continue if they don’t check the box and agree to the terms.

Now I was 100% sure that everything was correct and I submitted my ads again for review. I was hoping to see traffic as soon as they go live, but all I saw was disapproved ads AGAIN!!!

So now I was very upset and really didn’t know what else to do. Finally, I was able to chat with one of their reps and found out that not only the price needs to be in prominent spot on your landing page but also within the ad copy of your adwords ad. ?!?!?! Wow, seriously?

They make it really hard to promote mobile content. I almost feel like dropping this project and move forward with something else. I am going to get them approved just to see what I can do with it, but I am not going to stress about it. If my ads get disapproved again I think I am going to forget about it :(

Neverblue – $3,939.30 In One Day

February 4th, 2009

Ok, Neverblue is my favorite CPA network right now. They provide kick ass support and their offers convert like crazy. It’s like you are selling hot coffee on syberia :)

Anyway, I started with them in December of 2008 so it has been about 2 months now. They now have me on weekly wire transfer payout option which is absolutely awesome!

Check out this screenshot of earnings with Neverblue for Febraury 2nd of 2009 which was only 2 days ago.

I guess that’s not bad for one day :)

All that was done using Adwords. I didn’t even try to go for other networks yet. There are many content networks like Bluelithium.com, Advertising.com, and many smaller ones. I wonder what my income is going to look like once I expend and scale up my campaign across these networks lol

If you haven’t started with Neverblue yet then Click Here to create your account. Once you fill out the application make sure to call them and tell them that you are going to do Adwords campaigns. It’s important that you call them or pick up the phone when they call you. They want to make sure you are a real person and most important serious about marketing their offers.

So what is my secret system? Nothing special really, I just create targeted landing pages for targeted keywords and presell the offers. The offers at Neverblue convert extremely well, so the most important thing is to get the visitor to the offer page.

1. Go here to apply to NeverBlue

2. Choose offers with highest EPC

3. Create landing pages to presell the offers

4. Start Adwords campaign

5. Watch money roll in :)

I hope this post give you some motivation so you actually take action and do it. If you want to make money online then the only thing that can stop you from doing it is YOU! Just do it !

Neverblue – $7,574.45 Profit In 15 days

January 20th, 2009

I just recently started using NeverBlue CPA network with great success. I have been using Azoogle Ads and Copeac before, but Neverblue quickly became one of my favorites.

Check out this screenshot of earnings below. I have generated that income from December 15th to the 30th mainly using Adwords.

Not bad considering the fact that I signed up like 4 days before I started the campaign. There is a ton of money to be made with CPA offers. The key to making it work is to find the right keywords and develop a converting landing page. That’s basically it :)

So how much money was spent on Adwords? About $2000, which gives me a pretty good ROI.

I am starting to scale up my campaigns by trying out other sources of traffic, so I am sure I can double this amount or even triple within days.

Anyhow, I hope this inspired you and now you see what’s possible if you just put your mind to it.  Take action, start developing some landing pages and get traffic to them. That’s all it takes.

Converting Sales Letter vs Traffic

December 24th, 2008

What’s more important? I have always thought that targeted traffic was the most important part of any online business. It’s simple, if you don’t have traffic then you won’t make any sales. Ok, but what if you have traffic but it doesn’t convert into sales?

I am not a great copywriter, but in the past I’ve always written my own sales letters. Some of them were not converting at all. I would spend money on advertising and then find out that no sales are being made and money is just being wasted.

I got tired of it!

So I decided to outsource my sale copy writing.  From that point I noticed that my online income increased immediately. Not only that but because I had good converting copy on my site I attracted affiliates that wanted to sell my product, which got me a shit load of traffic that I didn’t have to pay for.

Now going back to the original question I strongly believe that highly converting sales letter is MORE important than traffic. If your site converts then traffic will follow. Affiliates are looking for products that convert, so if your conversions are great then they will send you all the traffic you want for free.  There is nothing better than FREE traffic that produces sales.

If you are selling your own info products or software, then you should always invest into sales copy all the money you can afford. It’s the best thing you can do for your business.

Once you have your sales letter and everything ready to go, just start recruiting affiliates and JV partners. You should be able to start generating sales without any advertising budget at all.

Infinity 800 by Jason Pearson

December 23rd, 2008

There is a new income opportunity on horizon called Infinity 800 created by Jason Pearson. Keep in mind that I am not associated with them in any way and do not promote it. I am making this post strictly for information purposes.

What is Infinity 800?

It’s a cycler with 2×2 matrix. This means you will need to find 2 people who also get 2 for you to cycle and get paid. Each time you cycle you make $800 – $260 (cost) = $540 profit.

The Infinity 800 is gaining a lot of attention on the internet. As it is with any new home business opportunity whoever joins early has a better chance of making money from it, which raises questions about the legitimacy of the program.

Everyone knows that pyramid schemes are illegal and if it takes more members to payout money to existing members then there is a big chance that it could be a pyramid type program. But the fact is that nobody really cares and people will join it anyway, because of the money potential they can earn. Those who know how to promote it will benefit the most since they will be able to complete their Infinity 800 matrix.

Who is Jason Pearson?

Jason Pearson is the creator of the Infinity 800 program, but he also created other income opportunities such as PWF. The fact is that I was a member of PWF which was a program that was reselling digital products. I did pretty well with it since I knew how to market it, but I promised myself that I would never join a business opportunity anymore.  There are much better ways of making money online that work and you don’t have to talk to anyone on the phone or compete with 100 other people for the same sale.

Anyway, Jason Pearson is the guy behind the Infinity 800 and that’s him on the front page of the company site in the video.

So what’s the problem with this Infinity 800 program?

Before you decide to join I want you to realize that there is always someone at the bottom that will lose money. I am not going to call this program a scam or anything, but I just wanted you to know that if you don’t know how to promote it and get people to sign up under you  then most likely you will lose and be very disappointed

Watch Oprah And Make Money

December 23rd, 2008

Today I would like to talk about some outside of the box thinking when it comes to pay per click marketing and CPA offers.

I don’t know how many of you watch Oprah or any other women show, but if you pay close attention to what Oprah is talking about or what kind of products she is recommending you could actually make some decent cash from it. The key to making this method work is speed. It basically all comes down to how quick can you create your landing page, do some keyword research and set up a campaign.

If you can do it within 3-4 hours then you could experience some easy affiliate commissions running some relevant CPA offers right after the show.

For example, Oprah had Dr Oz on the show a while back and they talked about Acai Berry and Colon Cleanse I believe. If you are a member of some of the most popular CPA networks then you know that those products are there to promote and the commission payout is quite lucrative. All you have to do is get someone to sign up for a free trial of the product and you could bank like $27-$32 per sale. Keep in mind that the cost to the customer was only like $3-$4 for shipping and handling..lol

So as you can see you can make some decent money from these shows. All you have to do is watch them or at least know what they are going to talk about or who is going to be the guest. Then just login to your CPA network and check for some relevant offers that would sell well.

Doing this you could run a nice campaign paying literally cents per click and rake a few $100s per day. Of course, it’s not going to last very long, but it’s like free money for 2-3 weeks that just needs to be picked up.

Anyway, I thought I would share this with you because I’ve tried it before with great success. It simply works and the quicker you can roll out your campaign the more money you will make.

Now go watch Oprah and make some money…lol

Affiliate Review Sites – Next Google Slap?

December 13th, 2008

I found an interesting thread on Warrior Forum the other day regarding the next Google slap. You can read about it here.

Anyway, according to Harlan the next slap is going to be targeted for affiliate review sites. I know this kinda sucks for those who run some profitable ppc campaigns using the review site model. I myself run some profitable campaigns using one-page review site.

It does make sense though if you think about it. I mean everytime I do a search on Google for something I will find at least 4-5 review sites that are basically fake and have nothing but affiliate links on them. It doesn’t really provide a good user experience which is what Google wants.

But how Google is going to determine which review sites are fake and which are not? I think it’s going to be interesting to see how they manage that.

So what can you do to protect your sites from getting slapped? Well, I think that Google wants to see sites that have useful and legitimate content. They don’t like one-page sites that only try to get the visitor to buy something or fill out a form of some sort.

In my opinion the best thing to do is to build blogs and blog about the niche you are in while running ppc campaigns for products you are promoting. This way when the Googlebot comes to visit your site to check it for quality score, it will see a nice blog with lots of content on it.

You also want to start your link building campaign to let google know that you are serious about your business. Do some press releases and write some good articles for distribution. What you want to do is basically create an authority site in your niche and then run ppc campaigns for your products from that domain. I think the technique where you buy a new domain name and put a one page review on it with some affiliates links and run Adwords campaign hoping for some sales is coming to an end.

Don’t get me wrong, it still works, but for how long? So for now you can just keep milking it for as long as you can and but in the meantime you should start thinking about new concept and possible build authority sites to replace your review pages once the Google slap is unleashed.

Great Quality Score – How to boost your quality score on Adwords

December 10th, 2008

I was experimenting with some new CPA offers and landing pages for the past few days and found a great way to boost quality score for my Adwords campaigns.

The concept is simple. Use RSS feeds to create keyword specific content pages. The key here is to display the feeds so of course they are visible to search engine spiders and then cloak the outbound links so the link juice is not getting passed and it looks like you are linking to your own pages but don’t let spiders to index it.

I used Carp Evolution to display feeds. It’s a nice useful RSS Tool that you should have in your arsenal.

Anyway here is what I did…

I created a landing page for the “employment” and “jobs” market promoting one of the offers I found on Neverblue Ads. Then I got a new domain name and installed the Carp Evolution on it. Next, I went and found rss feeds that stream job postings for different states. So now I created an html file for each state like this “illinois-jobs.html” etc. On those pages I inserted Carp’s code to display feeds and cloaked them so the links are not naked urls. Carp lets you do that with their “Click” plugin :)

I also included the robots meta tag in each page “nofollow, index”. This means that Google can index those pages but not follow any links..lol

Next I created a footer with links to each page that displays jobs for each state. I also added some specific job pages like finance jobs, administrative jobs etc.

Ok now I was ready to start the campaign and see what happens. I bid on keyword “jobs” and if you have ever tried to run a campaign for this keyword then you know how hard it is to keep it active without getting slapped with at least $10 min bid.

Anyway, here is quick snapshot of the stats:

As you can see it was just “OK” but it keeps running steady. I had it on now with limited daily budget for 2 days and now I am getting ready to bump it up a lot higher.

Now keep in mind that this a brand new domain name that was not indexed on Google yet or had any inbound links. I think that’s pretty good for such competitive keyword.

Try this technique for your own campaigns. I think you will get some great results. Imagine what you could do with less competitive niche.
