I have made a small forture selling those trials and they still sell like ice cream on a hot weather. But there are a few very important steps you need to take before you choose an offer to promote.
First, search the company and product on Google to see if there are positive reviews. You don’t want to be promoting a company that is ripping people off. Next, find out exactly when the pixel fires and what is the actual cost to the customer before you get the commission. You want to sell something that only charges for shipping and handling.
Next you want to build a nice landing page. I usually just use wordpress and build a nice little website around the topic and then make a money page on that blog where I will drive most of the traffic to. You can buy traffic or go for the SEO rankings.
To promote these offers on Google Adwords you will need a totally different approach though. You cannot have a landing page with direct links the offers anymore. Google is trying very hard to get rid off those sites because they have “poor quality score” or don’t provide value according to them.
To promote free trial offers on Google you will need a 2 or 3 step site where you offer something of value first. Once they fill out a form on your site or optin then you pitch your CPA offer. Don’t ever try to promote CPA offers directly on the page where the visitor lands on from clicking on your ad. This could even get you banned nowadays. Google doesn’t want their users have to leave your site in order to get what you offered. It should all happen on your site.
Health & beauty CPA offers are very profitable still even though they took a big hit after last FTC update and all that Google sweap.

It’s a good strategy but when using articles to drive traffic you need to concentrate on quality and backlinks to your articles. Proper keyword research in crucial with this method too. For Youtube check out this post
